SHORT DESCRIPTION
A tiny bird garden that lives above your taskbar. Set out food and Seattle shoreline birds come to visit while you work. Pet them, fill a pixel Bird Book with 44 species, and arrange your trees. No timers, no internet needed.

LONG DESCRIPTION
Bird Feeder is a cozy idle bird-watching game: a thin strip of garden that lives just above your Windows taskbar. Get on with your day, and real birds of the Pacific Northwest drop by to visit a little Seattle shoreline garden.

Set out food and see who comes. Sunflower seed brings chickadees, finches and sparrows; peanuts bring jays and nuthatches; suet brings woodpeckers and bushtits; nectar brings hummingbirds; mealworms bring robins, wrens and thrushes. Every visit earns stars for more food, feeders and garden pieces.

Click a bird and it calls back. Stroke it slowly and the view leans in close, with little hearts. Each newcomer leaves a sealed page in your Bird Book, with a portrait, field notes and gentle clues to what it likes. There are 44 birds to get to know, and 2 rare strays you may never meet. Field cards add small seasonal goals, like seeing a Northern Flicker on the lawn on three days.

Plant a madrone or a Douglas-fir and arrange the garden just so. Each season lasts a week, with rain or snow, roosting birds at night and a postcard of who came by while you were away. There are no timers, no chores and no punishment for being away, and the game needs no internet and no account.

HOW BIRD FEEDER WAS MADE (AI DISCLOSURE)
Bird Feeder was made with AI. The game's code, the pixel art (every bird, prop and background) and the in-game text (species notes, tips and menus) were written or drawn by AI agents (Claude Code). The music was generated with ElevenLabs (Eleven Music). Every sound effect and bird call is synthesized in code written by AI agents; the bird calls were tuned against measurements of real recordings, and no recording ships in the game. All of this content was made before release and ships inside the game. Nothing is generated while you play, and the game has no live AI features.
