Privacy Policy
Last updated:
Short version: this website has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no cookies. The only thing we collect is what you choose to send through the demo feedback form.
Who we are
This website is run by Verdiana Games. You can reach us at contact@verdianagames.com.
What we collect
The demo feedback form
When you send the form, we receive only what you enter:
- your rating and your answers to the multiple-choice questions;
- anything you write in the two text boxes;
- the info line from the game, if you paste it. It holds the demo version, play time, how many bird pages you found, a few display settings, and "Windows". It holds no personal data;
- your Discord username, only if you choose to give it.
The form does not ask for your name or email, and you do not need an account. Please do not write personal details in the text boxes.
Your IP address, briefly
To stop floods of automated messages, the server that receives the form uses your IP address to count how many forms come from the same place (at most 5 every 10 minutes). The address is turned into a scrambled code (a salted hash) and kept only in that server's working memory. Only the last 10 minutes count, and the code is gone when the server shuts down. It is never written to a database or to our logs, and it is not sent to Discord.
Hosting
This website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel handles the technical details of each visit (such as your IP address and the page requested) to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not use that data to track you.
Nothing else
We use no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking pixels. If we ever add visitor statistics, we will use a cookieless tool and update this page first.
Why we use it
- to understand how the demo felt and decide what to fix and build next;
- to give you the special role on our Discord server, if you gave your username;
- to protect the form from abuse.
Where it goes
Your answers are sent from our server straight to a private channel on our Discord server. Discord stores and processes them for us, under Discord's own terms and privacy policy, and its servers may be outside your country. Only our team can read that channel. We never publish your answers.
How long we keep it
We keep feedback for 12 months, then delete it. We may keep anonymous notes and tallies drawn from it (for example, "most players found 8 to 11 pages") for longer.
We never sell it
We do not sell or rent your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone except the services named above, or if the law requires it.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete your feedback, by emailingcontact@verdianagames.com. Because the form is anonymous, please tell us roughly when you sent it and something you wrote, or the Discord username you gave, so we can find it. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
